Simplify workwear ordering process eg include the ordering of one set of workwear as part of the SFA training event

volunteers will be able to become operational much quicker and feel more engaged and integrated. I am a new EFA volunteer and although I finished my training 8 weeks ago I still don’t have any workwear on order through my line manager

    This is a great way to alienate new volunteers, However, there are two sides to this - over the years hundreds, if not thousands, of sets of workwear have been issued to new volunteers. In many cases we never saw them - or the workwear - again.
    As workwear is issued, the recipient should be asked to sign for it, and to sign a declaration that they will hand it back if they cease their service. These declarations then need to be filed (not lost), and followed up if someone doesn't hand back their workwear when they stop their service.
