Create on demand roles based on volunteer availability and British Red Cross need

What user needs it addressees 

It allows people to volunteer at a time that suits them, barrier free, to learn about different British Red Cross opportunities. 

What problem it solves and what we get 

Flexible volunteering which fits their needs, instead of the fixed, prescribed needs of the British Red Cross.

Who we need

Input from across British Red Cross departments to provide light touch or introductory volunteer opportunities, IT for infrastructure. 

What we need

Red Cross website and IT infrastructure, British Red Cross department buy in. 

Key risks and challenges

Not being able to meet demand for roles, GDPR. 

How might we measure?

Take up numbers and conversion to more 'fixed roles'.
